GTA 6 PC Release Date: What We Know
Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version of GTA 6. At launch on November 19, 2026 it's on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Rockstar's recent big games reached PC 8 to 19 months after console.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not at launch. GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and Rockstar hasn’t announced a PC version or a date for one.
Rockstar has brought every recent big release to PC eventually, so most players expect one. Until Rockstar says so, though, there’s no confirmed PC release.
How long did past Rockstar games take to reach PC?
| Game | Console release | PC release | Wait |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTA 4 | April 2008 | December 2008 | About 8 months |
| GTA 5 | September 2013 | April 2015 | About 19 months |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | October 2018 | November 2019 | About 13 months |
If GTA 6 follows the same pattern, a PC version would arrive sometime in 2027 or 2028. That’s a guess based on history, not an announcement.
Can I play GTA 6 on PC through the cloud?
Nothing has been announced for cloud streaming either. We’ll update this guide when it is.
What should PC players do for now?
If you don’t want to wait, you’ll need a PS5 or an Xbox Series X|S. Our console finder tells you which one suits you. Otherwise, check back here. We update this page the moment Rockstar says anything about PC.
